    My office is located close to downtown Victoria at 1268 Walnut Street in Fernwood. It is a newly built house with the front upper floor dedicated for office space, a waiting area, and a client bathroom.

    Are your services covered by my employee benefit plan?2019-09-18T19:02:04-07:00

    Please contact your extended health care plan to see if Counselling and/or services by a “registered Psychologist” are covered for you and your family members. Receipts will be provided for you to submit to these agencies for reimbursement.

    Direct Billing (may be available for the following groups of people):

    1. Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
      Kyle is approved by Medavie Blue Cross to provide psychological services for Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and possibly for immediate family members of these groups. To see if you qualify please visit Medavie Blue Cross – Government Providers to find the appropriate contact.
    2. Crime Victim Assist Program, BC Government
      Kyle is approved by the BC government to provide counselling services to those people, and possibly their families, to receive partial funding. Please email Kyle to inquire into this after visiting this link (Crime Victim Assist Program) to see if you would qualify. Please be aware that Kyle can not approve such funding and the links on the above BC government website will provide you with the resources to determine if you qualify.
    3. First Nations Health Authority (British Columbia)
      Kyle is approved by the First Nations Health Authority in British Columbia. To see if you qualify please visit the Government page (click here). Please be aware that as of January 2018 the FNHA will only cover $95 towards each visit and the remainder will billed directly to the client.

    I have a Masters of Counselling Psychology, a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science, a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and am Registered as a Psychologist in the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. For work outside of these regions, I am registered across Canada as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Please read the “About” page to read more detailed information about my specializations.
